About Dr. Phi
Dr. Phi earned her Bachelor of Science degree in General Biology at the University of California, San Diego. Her interests in science led her to conduct research studies at the prestigious institutions of The Scripps Research Institute and Stanford University, where she has co-authored over 10 scientific peer-reviewed articles. After almost a decade of working in research, her interest to become a dentist began when she needed an emergency root canal. Dr. Phi obtained her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree at the A.T. Still University-Arizona School of Dentistry and Oral Health. After graduation, she moved to New Mexico as an NHSC Scholarship recipient to practice dentistry in Albuquerque.
Dr. Phi currently holds both an active dental license and an active PMU cosmetic practitioner license in New Mexico. She is trained and certified by Master PMU Artist Dao Pham in Nano Brows, Powder Ombre Brows, Lip Blush, and Eyeliner. She is always pursuing further knowledge and education in her field of work, in order to ensure that her patients and clients receive the best outcome!
Being raised in the 80's with over plucked brows and having naturally sparse, thin, non-existent brow hair, Dr. Phi did the tedious work of shading them daily. She came across her first experience with permanent make-up (PMU) in the mid 90's, when PMU was not much understood. As a result, she had to struggle with multiple corrections to correct blue brows, red brows, uneven brows, and brows that did not compliment her face. After finally finding the right experienced PMU artist to correct her brows, she now wakes-up every morning with ease, saving time out of her busy schedule, and feeling confident about them not smearing or disappearing! With her own complicated PMU experience, steady hands of a dental clinician, and her rigorous science background and understanding of research, you will feel at ease under her care and expertise. Dr. Phi will make sure all her PMU clients will receive the best experience and results possible!

- You are pregnant or breastfeeding, on blood thinners, uncontrolled epilepsy, undergoing chemotherapy or radiation, active skin diseases, on Accutane (less than 6 mo ago), have had Botox/Fillers/facial peels less than 2 weeks before appointment.
- If you have active, uncontrolled diabetes, it is best to get approval from your doctor due to higher risk of infection.
- PLEASE RESCHEDULE for LIP BLUSH procedures if active cold sores/fever blisters are present. Clients will need antivirals from a provider prior to appointment, to prevent further outbreak and to not compromise healing.
